Gustavo Estrada has been working in the jewellery industry since 1994, and his creations have been showcased more than twenty times in galleries, museums and exhibitions in Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa and New York. Through his teaching, Gustavo is always rediscovering the forms and fundamentals of the creative process in the art of jewellery-making. His experience and knowledge have been enriched by fifteen years of teaching at the Centre des arts visuels de Montréal, the Saidye Bronfman Centre, the École des métiers du Sud-Ouest-de-Montréal, the École de joaillerie de Montréal and the Nanjing Art Institute in China, as well as by his bachelor's degree in education from the Université de Montréal. Sharing his knowledge through teaching gives him new ways to express his creativity and brings him back to the roots of his passion and love for the metal arts.
