Who we are:
Located at 5445 Avenue de Gaspé, Suite 613, Atelier Artéfact is a fully equipped jewellery and metal arts studio that supports both structured instruction and independent creative practice.
We are a non‑profit organization dedicated to advancing Québec’s arts and culture sector through hands‑on education, professional skills development, and community access to artistic training.
The Montréal Academy of Metal Arts, our studio school has established itself as a trusted center for specialized instruction in jewellery and metal arts.

The Montréal Academy of Metal Arts (M.A.M.A.) fosters a supportive environment where students and artists can grow. We offer well‑equipped facilities and a variety of jewellery‑making classes and workshops for all skill levels.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist, M.A.M.A. provides the resources and encouragement needed to develop your craft. We value community, bringing together individuals with shared interests to inspire creativity and connection.
Gustavo Estrada, the school’s Artistic Director and Co-founder, is an accomplished jeweller and experienced educator. He is dedicated to sharing his expertise with students of all levels through a structured eight-module program that progressively develops jewellery-making skills. Each module builds upon the last, guiding students toward a strong understanding of techniques and materials.
Alongside Gustavo, our team of skilled instructors is committed to sharing their knowledge through hands‑on learning and personalized feedback, supporting students as they explore and develop their own artistic style.
For students who prefer not to follow the module system, we offer Personal Project classes.
For professionals or students with prior training, we also offer a system of Bench Renting. This allows individuals to purchase studio time to work independently on their own projects.
We also offer special, beginner level, introduction classes, appropriate for groups wanting to share an activity in a creative and relaxed atmosphere.
