Please read carefully
Important: Not attending a class or workshop does not count as a cancellation.
All cancellations and refund requests must be submitted by email to: info@montrealmetalart.com
Montreal Academy of Metal Art – Cancellation Policy
1. Cancelling Before the Course Begins
You may cancel your registration at any time before the course begins, for any reason.No penalties or fees apply if the course has not started.
A full refund will be issued.
2. Cancelling After the Course Has Started
If you cancel after the course has begun, the following fees apply:The cost of the classes already attended;
The cost of any materials received or used;
An administrative fee not exceeding $50, or 10% of the total course cost, whichever is less.
No refunds will be issued for missed classes.
3. No-ShowsFor single-day workshops or classes, if you register but do not attend, no refund or credit will be issued, regardless of the reason.
For multi-day courses, failure to attend without prior written cancellation will be treated as a cancellation after the course has started, and the same fees outlined in Section 2 will apply.
4. How to Cancel
Cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to:
info@montrealmetalart.com
5. Refund Timeline
Once MAMA receives your written cancellation, any refund you are entitled to will be issued within 10 days.
6. Course Cancellation by MAMA
If MAMA cancels a course (e.g., due to low enrollment), a full refund will be provided, or students may choose to transfer to a future session.
Exception – Single-Day Workshops
The cancellation and refund rules described above do not apply to workshops or classes that are delivered entirely on a single calendar day.
In these cases, no refunds will be issued once registration is confirmed.

Our Missed Class Policy
The Montreal Academy of Metal Arts missed class policy, please read carefully:
Our goal is to have a policy that encourages students to attend the classes in which they are enrolled, but which also provides an element of flexibility in responding to unexpected circumstances, for example a family emergency or if they are suffering from a contagious illness.
Should the student wish to “make up” a missed class, the following procedure should be followed:
Students must register and confirm their presence in the make up class with info@montrealmetalart.com
Due to administrative fees all make up classes will cost $20.00 + tax. You will be charged for your make up class when you register with info@montrealmetalart.com
A make up class must be taken within a month of the last class of the session that a student was attending.
Make up classes will be offered at the same level or a level lower than the class which was missed.
Once registered you will be assigned a make up class from available time slots and it is probable that the make up class that you will be assigned will not be in the class which you are currently attending.
If it is a workshop you have registered for:
Cancellation up to 1 day before the workshop:
A refund or credit will be issued minus a $10 administrative fee.
Cancellation on the day of the workshop:
No refunds will be issued. A credit will be applied (less the $10 fee) toward a future workshop of the same kind.Credit usage:
Credits are valid for one workshop transfer and must be used within one year.
Please note: make up classes may not be taken prior to an absence.
It is not currently possible to offer courtesy classes for our Rhino 3D classes
