Montreal Academy of Metal Arts — Cancellation and Refund Policy
Please read carefully
Important: Not attending a class or workshop does not count as a cancellation.
All cancellations and refund requests must be submitted by email to: info@montrealmetalart.com
Courses (3 to 8 classes in length)
Cancellation up to 1 day before the course starts:
A full refund or credit (your choice) will be issued minus a $30 administrative fee.Cancellation on the day the course begins:
No refunds will be issued. However, a credit will be issued (less the $30 fee) for use toward a future course of the same kind.Withdrawal after the first class:
A partial refund or credit will be issued. The refund or credit will be for the full course amount minus one class fee and the $30 administrative fee.After the second class:
No refund or credit will be issued.Credit usage:
Credits are valid for one class transfer and must be used within one year.
Workshops (1 to 2 classes in length)
Cancellation up to 1 day before the workshop:
A refund or credit will be issued minus a $10 administrative fee.Cancellation on the day of the workshop:
No refunds will be issued. A credit will be applied (less the $10 fee) toward a future workshop of the same kind.Credit usage:
Credits are valid for one workshop transfer and must be used within one year.
Cancellations by M.A.M.A.
If we cancel a class or workshop, you will receive a full refund.
Missed Classes and Illness
As a non-profit organization, we are unable to offer refunds or credits for missed classes or workshops, including those missed due to illness.

Our Missed Class Policy
The Montreal Academy of Metal Arts missed class policy, please read carefully:
Our goal is to have a policy that encourages students to attend the classes in which they are enrolled, but which also provides an element of flexibility in responding to unexpected circumstances, for example a family emergency or if they are suffering from a contagious illness.
Should the student wish to “make up” a missed class, the following procedure should be followed:
Students must register and confirm their presence in the make up class with info@montrealmetalart.com
Due to administrative fees all make up classes will cost $20.00 + tax. You will be charged for your make up class when you register with info@montrealmetalart.com
A make up class must be taken within a month of the last class of the session that a student was attending.
Make up classes will be offered at the same level or a level lower than the class which was missed.
Once registered you will be assigned a make up class from available time slots and it is probable that the make up class that you will be assigned will not be in the class which you are currently attending.
If it is a workshop you have registered for:

Please note: make up classes may not be taken prior to an absence.
It is not currently possible to offer courtesy classes for our Rhino 3D classes
