  If you are a beginner you will complete exercises from Module 1 until the module is complete. After Module 1 you will pursue projects of your own design based on your skill level. Projects will be overseen by the teacher and instruction offered throughout the process.

• Materials are not included. The materials may be purchased from the instructor (tools provided).

• Projects made in wax will be taken to a casting specialist to be cast ( made into metal ) The casters will charge a fee for the casting service plus the cost of the metal.

Introduction to Rhino 3D Part 1

• This course will introduce participants to the basics of Rhino 8, the jewellery industry standard software for 3D design. Through lectures, demonstrations and exercises, students will become familiar with the software and its infinite possibilities, adding a new and powerful tool to their jewellery practice.

• Please note that you must have completed module 1 or the equivalent 32 hours of basic training.

• Requirements:

  Portable computer with Rhino 8 installed and three button mouse. Please install the software before the course begins.

  Some of our workshops are delivered in a single, one‑day session and space is limited. Once a single‑day workshop has begun, all registrations are considered a service delivered. Because reserved spots cannot be reassigned, late cancellations or failure to attend are not eligible for a refund or credit.
