You are welcome to take an introduction class to try out new skills but it is not a prerequisite for our Module classes. You can register directly in our module 1 to 3 classes to start your jewellery journey.

Fall - Winter Classes, 2026


Beginner Classes: Modules 1-2 or 3

You will be studying one module at a time — In these classes students will cover material from Modules 1, 2 or 3. Students are encouraged to work at their own pace.

Working with Wax: Modules 1-2 or 3

Andrew Floyd

In these modules you will have a comprehensive overview of various wax techniques.

There will be exercises in wax and some in metal as these modules will cover beginner techniques in both mediums.

You will have a clear understanding of how to add a third dimension to your work by creating jewellery with wax and how to properly finish your pieces once they are cast in metal.

If you are a beginner you will complete exercises from Module 1. After completing Module 1 students may pursue guided projects projects of their own choosing based on their interests, skill level and experience.

* In our 4 week courses it will not be possible to complete all the exercises from any given module. You will be able to complete, based on your own personal pace, as many projects as is possible.

From Jewellery to Sculpture

Kyung Sun Lim

Create a statement piece.

Explore how traditional traditional jewellery-making techniques can be used to create larger sculptural objects, including large-scale wearable art. Students will design and fabricate a freestanding, wall-mounted, or wearable, metal sculpture.

Sample Project Ideas: Botanical forms (flowers, leaves, vines) Abstract tabletop sculptures, Kinetic sculptures with moving elements, Wall-mounted metal art, Wearable Art.

Prerequisite: Three sessions of Jewellery Fundamentals or the equivalent 96 hours of training.
